生命科學系

實驗室介紹：
      動物生理實驗室主要的任務是，探索、瞭解在地球環境變動下，水生生物，尤其是珊瑚礁生物，如何因應環境變化，所產生的適應性生理現象。
      在這個目標下，本實驗室衍生出幾個正在進行中的研究主題。
1、調控珊瑚生殖機制之研究，這個研究利用分子內分泌學、組織學、細胞學等技術，探索全球珊瑚同步排卵有性生殖的奧秘。
2、珊瑚生態生理學之研究，這個研究以潛水攝影和無人水下遙控載具，進行珊瑚礁生物適應地球環境變動之研究。
      除了以上進行的研究主題，實驗室利用藻類受迫時會產生抗氧化劑等生物活性物質的特性，進行
3、藻類機能食品或保養品之開發，利用海洋深層水培養藻類，將其中成分如多醣類、藻藍蛋白等活性物質萃取出來，再利用於動物餌料、機能食品或保養品等高經濟價值產品的生產。
